Engine Valve structure

Part of the heat received by the valve head is transmitted to the cylinder head through the valve seat ring; The other part is passed to the cylinder head through the valve rod and valve guide, and is eventually carried away by the coolant in the cylinder head water jacket. In order to enhance heat transfer, the sealing cone of the valve and the valve seat ring must be tightly fitted. For this reason, the two should be paired for grinding, and cannot be exchanged after grinding. The valve rod has high machining accuracy and low roughness, and maintains a small matching gap with the valve guide to reduce wear, and plays a good guiding and cooling role. The shape of the tail end of the valve depends on how the upper valve spring seat is fixed. The valve spring seat is fixed by the air lock clamp which is divided into two halves and the outer surface is conical. The structure is simple, the work is reliable, and the disassembly is convenient, so it has been widely used. The inner surface of the air lock clamp has a variety of shapes, and the corresponding end of the valve also has a variety of different shapes of the air lock clamp slot. The valve is a hollow valve stem filled with half metal sodium. Because the melting point of sodium is 97.8 ° C, the boiling point is 880 ° C, so when the valve is working, sodium becomes a liquid, violently shaking up and down in the valve rod, constantly absorbing heat from the valve head and passing it to the valve rod, and then passing it to the cylinder head through the valve guide, so that the valve head is cooled.
