The reasons for engine bearing bush damage are: too small clearance between shaft and bearing bush, insufficient lubricating oil, improper selection of bearing bush and so on.
●What is the cause of engine bearing damage?
The reasons for engine bearing bush damage are: too small clearance between shaft and bearing bush, insufficient lubricating oil, improper selection of bearing bush and so on.
The main causes of bearing bush damage are:
① The clearance between shaft and bearing is too small, resulting in poor lubrication and excessive local friction.
② Insufficient or excessive deterioration of lubricating oil, oil pump damage, oil pipe rupture lead to oil pressure drop.
③ The bearing bush is not matched properly.
④ Abrasive is immersed into the alloy surface of the journal and bearing bush, causing abnormal wear.
⑤ Improper use. Low temperature cold start, bearing bush in the absence of good lubrication will be high load and high speed operation.
Preventive measures are:
① When assembling the bearing bush, carefully check whether the bearing bush meets the requirements and pay attention to the cleanliness of the surface of the parts. Do not be too tight or too loose when assembling. The fitting clearance of the bending bushing is 0.08-0.10 mm, and the fitting clearance of the connecting rod bushing is 0.05-0.06 mm
② Winter starting, first turn the crankshaft several times, after starting idle operation is appropriate. When the water temperature rises above 40℃, you can start driving.
③ Use high quality lubricating oil, check the quality regularly, if the water becomes dirty black or dirty, it should be replaced in time.
④ Pay attention to the pressure or alarm signal of the oil pressure gauge during driving, and remove any abnormality in time.
⑤ Strictly abide by the operation rules, use the vehicle reasonably, and try to avoid overload, low speed and overload operation.
●What is the cause of the slow engine failure?
Check the voltage, starter and grounding system when the engine is spinning slowly. In modern cars, lubricating oil has little impact on the start of the car, so there is basically no need to consider the problem of lubricating oil, but also to consider whether the engine itself has too much resistance.
The steps to eliminate slow engine speed are as follows:
① Use a multimeter to check whether the voltage at both ends of the battery ranges from 10 to 12.5 volts.
② Turn on the ignition. Use a multimeter to check whether the terminal connected to the positive battery terminal on the ignition switch has a battery voltage of 10 to 12.5 volts.
③ Keep the ignition switch in the starting gear, and use a multimeter to check whether the terminal connected to the starter motor suction coil on the ignition switch has a voltage of more than 8V;
④ Keep the ignition switch in starting gear, and use a multimeter to check whether the positive terminal of the starter motor has a voltage above 8V;
⑤ Use a multimeter to detect whether the starter motor is open or short circuit;
⑥ Check whether the engine is stuck due to poor lubrication;
⑦ If in winter, check whether the resistance to start the motor is too large due to the improper selection of engine oil and gearbox oil.
